Is CERAMAX hybridceramic a glazed or an unglazed ceramic?

CERAMAX hybridceramic has no glaze. Therefore the surface is scratch resistant.

For glazed materials / tiles the glaze is like a colored coating. It is used to cover differences between raw materials or to get even surfaces.

The disadvantage is the risk of surface damages like spalling or scratches.

Also glazed tiles are sensitive to frost.
